TALLER DE ELABORACIÓN DE ADORNOS

Ayer, miércoles 2 de diciembre, los alumnos de primero de Peluquería y Cosmética Capilar hemos cambiado los peines y la laca por la aguja y el dedal.

Vino a nuestro Centro Inés Jiménez que se dedica a la artesanía. Nos ha ido explicando y dando las pautas para que cada uno de nosotros elaboremos un adorno personalizado para el cabello.

Inés ha valorado muy positivamente la motivación que ha visto en los alumnos y las ganas que hemos puesto para lograr unos adornos con buenos acabados. Nos ha animado para que sigamos haciendo más creaciones, algo muy interesante para nuestra futura profesión, ya que, nos explicó, "la venta de complementos y aderezos para el cabello sería un servicio más que podemos ofrecer a nuestros clientes en el salón".

Ha sido un taller muy entretenido y hemos descubierto una habilidad que desconocíamos que teníamos y es la costura.

Muchas gracias, Inés, por tu dedicación y por las cosas tan bonitas que elaboras y que nos enseñaste.

 

                                                        ORNAMENT WORKSHOP

Yesterday, December the 2^nd,First Hairdressing and capillary Cosmetics students have changed the combs and the lacquer for the needle and thimble.

Agnes Jiménez came to our Centre. She is craft professional. Shewas explaining and giving guidelines for each of us, to be able to develop them in a custom hair ornament.

Agnes appreciatedour student’s motivation and the energy we have created to achieve some good finished ornaments. She has encouraged us to continue making more creations, something very interesting for our future job, as we explained, "the sale of supplements and dressings for the hair would be a service more than we can offer to our clients in the lounge".

It has been a very entertaining workshop and we have discovered a new skill that we did not realize. The stitching.

TALLER DE PEINADOS AFRICANOS

El pasado viernes, 27 de noviembre, los alumnos de primero de Peluquería y Cosmética Capilar asistimos a un taller de peinados africanos impartido por la profesional Khady Dionf, que se prestó a compartir con nosotros los conocimientos adquiridos en el campo de la peluquería. Nos contó que, cuando era pequeña, su madre le enseñó a hacer las trenzas pegadas y los diferentes acabados que se pueden hacer con ellas. También nos dijo que ha estado trabajando en diversas peluquerías en su país de origen.

Fue una jornada muy interesante; además de aprender, nos hizo peinados muy elaborados en trenzas pegadas.

Fue un ejemplo para nosotros ya que, a pesar de que el tiempo empleado fue muy largo, ella siempre nos miraba con una sonrisa y nos decía que no estaba cansada, demostrando una gran capacidad de trabajo.

                                              AFRICAN HAIRSTYLING WORKSHOP

Last Friday, November the 27^th,First  year Hairdressing and Capillary Cosmetics pupils attended to a workshop of African hairstyles taught by professional KhadyDionf. She shared with us the knowledge acquired in the field of hairdressing. She told us that when she was little, her mother taught her to make glued braids, and the different finishes that you can do with them. She also told us that he has been working in various hairdressers in their original country.

It was a very interesting day; a part of learning, she showed us very much-elaborated hairstyles in glued brains.

It was an example for us since, despite the fact that the time was very long, she always looked at us with a smile and she told us that she was not tired, demonstrating a great work capacity.

ELIMINACIÓN DE LA VIOLENCIA DE GÉNERO

En una fecha como la de ayer, 25 de noviembre, nuestro Centro también quiere manifestar su enérgico rechazo a la violencia de género. Por un momento dejamos nuestros quehaceres y nos juntamos todos para llevar a cabo el sencillo gesto de colocarnos el lazo morado unos a otros. Con la escucha de una canción significativa y unos minutos de reflexión silenciosa posterior queremos expresar nuestro más incondicional apoyo a las mujeres que sufren por esta causa.

ELIMINATION OF GENDER-BASED VIOLENCE

In a date as yesterday, November the 25^th, our Centre also wanted to express its strong rejection regarding the gender violence. We left our chores in an instant, and we united all to carry out the simple gesture of putting the purple loop to each other. By listening to a significant song and a few minutes of silent reflection, our aim was to show our unconditional support to the women who suffer from this cause.

PLANTA CLASIFICADORA DE ENVASES

     Esta mañana los alumnos de primero de Peluquería y Cosmética Capilar visitamos la Planta Clasificadora de Envases ubicada en Villamayor. La planta está en el antiguo vertedero. Allí llegan los envases, de Salamanca y provincia, que depositamos en los contenedores amarillos. Vimos el proceso desde la llegada de las bolsas y nos dimos cuenta de cómo, operarios y cintas transportadoras, separan los diferentes tipos de plásticos, bolsas y briks y cómo las cintas imantadas, el hierro y el aluminio. Todo lo separado se embala con destino a varios centros de reciclaje por toda España. En total se recuperan unas 3/4 partes del contenido de las 250 toneladas mensuales recogidas en los contenedores. El resto va destino a Gomecello donde se le hace un nuevo tratamiento.

     La salida ha sido interesante; nos ha servido para ser conscientes de la importancia que tiene reciclar lo máximo posible ya que los recursos no durarán para siempre.

                                                     PACKAGING PLANT GRADER

   This morning the first year students of Hairdressing visited the Classification Packaging Plant located in Villamayor . The plant is in the old landfill,that is where the packaging from Salamanca arrives , which we place in the yellow containers . We saw the process from the arrival of the bags and we realized how operators and conveyors  separated the different types of plastic bags and cartons and how magnetized tapes separated  iron and aluminum. Everything is packed separately bound to various recycling centers throughout Spain . In total, about 3/4 of the content of the monthly 250 tons collected in the containers are recovered. The rest goes to Gomecello destination where a new treatment is made.     The actitvity was interesting . It has helped us to be aware of the importance of recycling as much as possible and that resources of the Nature will not last forever .
